NASR Staff Expands
The NASR National Office is pleased to welcome 2 new key staff members to the team.
Steve Green will be stepping down from his Board position to join NASR as the Manager of the flagship Speedway racing series, World Series Sprintcars. Steven comes into the role with extensive Speedway experience, including 9 years as Managing Director of Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway.
Steve has also driven Formula 500s and crewed for his family's Speedcar and Sprintcar team (including touring on WSS and a stint in the USA on an Outlaws team).
Steve intends to use his experience to lead Australia's premiere Sprintcar series into a new era of professional operations, marketing and promotion.
NASR would also like to welcome Warren King, our new Marketing & Communications Officer.
Coming from a graphic design and marketing background, Warren's role is to consolidate the NASR brand, explore new areas to market and promote the sport of speedway racing, and to enhance NASR's communication with stakeholders, license holders and enthusiasts.
Warren possesses university qualifications in multimedia and marketing, and has owned and operated his own graphic design business and was nominated for a Messenger Local Business Award in 2009. Warren has also demonstrated his marketing and branding flair for Sprint Auto Parts in South Australia; a company owned by former Sprintcar driver, Chas Calandro.
The addition of these two staff members will greatly improve NASR's ability to manage and grow the great sport of Speedway Racing from "best kept secret" to "best motorsport in Australia."
