World Series Sprintcars Releases 2011/12 Schedule
WSS and Speedway Australia are proud to announce the full racing schedule for the 25th Anniversary Season of World Series Sprintcars.
The series will feature 15 rounds of adrenaline-fueled Sprintcar racing, including 3 two-night shows and fan-favourite Speedweek.
The series will kick off in Brisbane on November 26 before making stops in Dubbo and Mildura prior to Christmas.
Morris Park Speedway in Dubbo will be hosting a WSS Round for the first time ever, while Mildura will be returning to the racing fixture after a 4-year absence.
Speedway City in Adelaide will once again kick off Speedweek on Boxing Day. The series will then snake through SA and Victoria, visiting Murray Bridge, Mount Gambier and Avalon before concluding in Warrnambool on New Year’s Day.
Brisbane will host the first of the two-night shows on January 6 and 7, coinciding with the prestigious Australian Open.
Speedway City will host round 10 on the 14th of January.
After a brief break in the series for the Sprintcar Classic and Australian Title, teams will embark on a western swing, visiting Kalgoorlie, Albany, Manjimup, Bunbury and the state-of-the-art Perth Motorplex.
