Snell Helmet Standard SA-2000
In June 2010, the Speedway Australia Safety Advisory Committee began a 12 month phasing out period for all helmets carrying the Snell SA-2000 or Snell M-2000 Standard.
As of July 1 2011, any helmets carrying the Snell SA-2000 or M-2000 Standard are no longer acceptable for use.
To meet minimum requirements, all Snell helmets must meet either the Snell SA-2005, M-2005, SA-2010 or M-2010 Standard.
