WSS Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Commemorative Magazine
Hi-Tec Oils World Series Sprintcars and Speedway Australia will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Australia's premiere Speedway series with a limited edition commemorative magazine entitled, "Celebrating 25 Years of Power and Passion".
To honour the competitors who make the series truly memorable, the commemorative magazine features the names of 25 years worth of WSS drivers emblazoned across the cover in high gloss finish.
Inside the high quality publication, fans will find a wealth of reading material, including articles from former series manager John Hughes, Ken Brown and series commentator Wade Aunger.
Krikke Motorsport Team Owner Shane Krikke offers readers an insight into running a world-class sprintcar team, while East Coast Pipeline Racing Crew Chief Nick Speed walks us through a day in the life of a team on the road.
"Celebrating 25 Years of Power and Passion" also features an autograph poster centre spread, a visual look at the series schedule, a brief overview of a sprintcar, WSS race format breakdown, extended driver profiles and an insight into how Speedway Australia produces the technology behind a WSS show.
In an additional nod to sprintcar history, a 25th Anniversary WSS commemorative A2 poster will also be available in strictly limited quantities, and can be purchased on race nights from Wayne Meyer's Speedway Star stand.
Speedway Australia would like to thank Phil Jordison (Oval Express) for graciously supplying a collection of amazing historical photos from throughout the series' 25 year history, in addition to photographers Corey Gibson, Paris Charles, Scott Memery, Peter Roebuck, Wade Aunger, Daniel Beard, James Baker and Stephen Pickering for their generous contributions.
The commemorative magazine "Celebrating 25 Years of Power and Passion" will be available at all rounds of the 2011/12 Hi-Tec Oils World Series Sprintcars season in strictly limited quantities for $8. Fans can also purchase the commemorative poster and magazine together for only $15.
