Speedway Australia Social Media
Speedway Australia continues to add avenues for Speedway fans and participants to stay informed via social media and electronic communications.
The Speedway Australia Facebook profile, found at facebook.com/SpeedwayAustralia, offers a great way to stay connected with the sport. In addition to the posting of news and events, the Speedway Australia Facebook page offers fans the latest WSS and NSSS news, as well as media release, tweets and more.
For fans, the WSS and NSSS Facebook fan pages can be found at fb.worldseriessprintcars.com and fb.nationalsupersedanseries.com respectively. Both pages bring the latest news, results and media releases direct to you via your news feed and allow you to join the discussion with other fans and series personnel.
On a newly created area of the Facebook universe, the Speedway Australia Rising Star Program has launched a Facebook page (facebook.com/speedwayrisingstars), allowing participants both past and present from the program to share their latest news and results, as well as the latest updates about the program direct from Speedway Australia.
On race nights, the WSS and NSSS also keeps fans up to date via Twitter with heat results and major happenings at the venue. You can follow the respective series at http://twitter.com/WSS_Sprintcars and http://twitter.com/SuperSedans.
For Speedway fans and participants not in the realm of social media, Speedway Australia and World Series Sprintcars offer direct email eNews updates to keep you up to date. WSS Fans can sign up for email media release updates, sent on the day they are posted at worldseriessprintcars.com, or Speedway Australia monthly eNews updates, recapping the important events of the month and other important news and notes.
