2012 Speedway Australia Licence Forms Now Available
2012 Speedway Australia Licence application forms are now available to download in PDF format from speedwayaustralia.net.au/downloads. Printed application booklets will be made available via associations and clubs in the coming weeks.
In response to customer feedback, Speedway Australia is happy to announce it has not increased licence prices in 2012.
Another positive for licence applicants, Speedway Australia will now offer the choice of submitting a either a Speedway Australia medical examination, or a CAMS medical examination (conditions apply).
For drivers under 40 years of age who are not competing in a AA licence class (or a Wingless Sprint), submitting a CAMS Medical will mean the applicant will only have to submit a medical every 5 years due to the more comprehensive nature of the examination. Speedway Australia Medicals will continue to remain valid for 2 years. All AA licence applicants can submit either medical but will still require a medical to be completed every 2 years (or annually for Sprintcars and Wingless).
To review the CAMS Medical criteria, visit the Speedway Australia Medical Standards page.
The Speedway Australia Online Licensing system is quickest and most efficient method for obtaining a speedway licence. From June 1st, any applications using licence forms outside of the dedicated Online Licensing System will incur a $10 administration fee as an additional incentive to avoid using paper forms.
