Seeking Applications For Speedway Safety Advisory Committee
Speedway Australia in conjunction with the Speedway Safety Advisory Committee are now calling for nominations for 3 vacant Committee Member positions.
The Speedway Australia Speedway Safety Advisory Committee (SSAC) was formed in 2006 to give advice and provide guidelines to the Speedway Australia Board on relevant aspects of safety and competition regulation in Australian Speedway.
It is designed to liaise closely with national and international technical associations and provide safety reports at the Speedway Australia National Safety Conference.
As part of the Committee’s formation in January 2006, it was decided that 3 Member positions become vacant every year thereafter.
The Speedway Safety Advisory Committee (SSAC) consists of 9 Members plus a Speedway Australia Management Representative, all of whom were elected by the Speedway Australia Board. The Members represent a range of groups with diverse skills and expertise who are involved in Speedway racing across the country.
