QBE Risk Management Track Grant Recipients
Last week, Speedway Australia posted notifications of grant outcomes to all 2012 QBE Risk Management Track Grant applicants.
Last week, Speedway Australia posted notifications of grant outcomes to all 2012 QBE Risk Management Track Grant applicants.
Speedway Australia Insured Tracks submitted applications earlier in 2012, citing the venue improvements being made.
Speedway Australia received a record volume of quality submissions and after a period of review, selected 14 Speedway venues across Australia to receive a Risk Management Grant.
Western Australia
- Manjimup and Albany Speedways have been issued QBE Risk Management Track Grants to assist in improving their spectator facilites.
Queensland
- Gatton, Charlton and Kingaroy Speedways have each been issued a QBE Risk Management Track Grant to assist with facility improvements. Gatton will use the grant funding to assist with steward facility upgrades, Charlton will us grant funding to assist with pit gate upgrades and Kingaroy will use the funding to assist with the construction of new pit area fencing.
New South Wales
- Nowra, Surfair, Gilgandra and Leeton Speedways have been issued QBE Risk Management Track Grants to assist with facility improvements. Nowra will use grant funding to assist with steward facility upgrades, Surfair will use grant funding to install catch fencing, Gilgandra will use grant funding for various repairs including lighting and official's areas, and Leeton will use grant funding to improve spectator facilities.
Victoria
- Wangaratta and Mortlake Speedways have been issued QBE Risk Management Track Grants to assist with facility improvements. Wangaratta Speedway will use grant funding to install safety fencing. Mortlake Speedway will use grant funding to replace concrete fencing.
South Australia
- Murray Bridge and Bordertown Speedways have been issued QBE Risk Management Track Grants to assist with facility improvements. Murray Bridge will use grant funding to improve spectator facilities. Bordertown Speedway will use grant funding to improve steward and media facilities.
Northern Territory
- Katherine Speedway has been issued a QBE Risk Management Track Grant to assist with catch fencing improvements.
