Speedway Australia, Speedway Victoria and the Victorian Grand Prix Midget Racing Association regret the passing of Rod Quarrell.
A highly respected member of the speedway community who will be sadly missed by all who knew or dealt with him over his many years of service to Speedway and the VGPMRA. He was a valued and integral member of VGPMRA.
Rod held every committee position and was made a Life Member in 1990. He was the Chief Scrutineer for the past 20 years and continued as Secretary until his sad passing.
Speedway Australia and VGPRA wishes to offer its sincerest condolences to Rod' family and friends at this difficult time.
