Mediatec Awarded World Series Sprintcars Television Contract
Speedway Australia and World Series Sprintcars are pleased to announce that the 2012/13 television and big screen contracts have been awarded to Mediatec Asia Pacific.
Mediatec is Australia’s premiere AV solution provider for event and television productions, handling a wide range of live and delayed broadcasts each year in Australia and internationally.
Mediatec has been involved in production, equipment and broadcasting of high-level events such as the Australian Open Tennis, Red Bull Air Race, Melbourne Cup and Spring Racing Carnivals, Logies and Brownlow awards nights, Melbourne Comedy Festival, A Day on the Green, Future Music Festival, Big Day Out and are about to embark on a worldwide tour with Australian pop star Gotye.
Mediatec was awarded the contract after an intensive and highly competitive tender process. The quality of production Mediatec offers, their experience and expertise, and their ability to fully integrate their event big-screen is an exciting step forward for World Series Sprintcars and the sport of speedway.
Mediatec’s David Hines commented on the partnership.

Whilst we recognise the excellent standard that has been previously provided to WSS, we aim to display speedway’s flagship event at an even higher level.
