The inaugural Bruce Howle Rookie of the Year Award was won jointly by Brenden Rallings (Sedans) and Jaimie Mackinlay (Formula 500s).

Each driver will receive $500.00 and a trophy, both drivers are worthy recipients of this award and the Board of Speedway New South Wales & ACT wish them well in their future endeavours in speedway.
