2013 Speedway Australia Rising Star Program
Speedway Australia is excited to be calling for applications for the 2013 Speedway Australia Rising Star Program. The 2013 program will continue to work closely with the best young speedway talent in the country.
Applications for the 2013 Speedway Australia Rising Star Program officially close on Friday November 30 2012.
The 2012 Speedway Australia Rising Star Program assisted talented young drivers build toward their racing potential. A number of participants not only went on to win major events, but also improved dramatically in their marketing and media portfolios to enhance their profile in the sport. We have also seen the realisation of dreams, with drivers travelling to America to compete or work within the Speedway industry.
Criteria:
- Must be Speedway Australia Licensed driver
- Must be between the ages of 16-23
- Have a long term goal in the Sport
- Show a history of good results in Speedway Racing
- Be able to perform at a competent level of Fitness training
- Must supply a minimum of one referee

If accepted into the program you will be supported throughout the 2012 calendar year with all of the above and much more. For examples of this support, visit the Rising Star section of the Speedway Australia, under the “About” menu.
To apply, you will need to submit a personal application stating why this program will be of benefit to you. Applications should include a driver resume providing details of your past experience in the sport and information about your current racing and future goals.
All applications are to be sent to your Speedway Australia state branch (listed below), by close of business Friday November 30 2012. Applicants from Tasmania and Northern Territory should submit their applications directly to Speedway Australia’s head office.
