WSS Goes Mobile In 2010/11
For the first time ever, World Series Sprintcars will reach the masses in all new ways with the WSS Mobile iPhone Web App and our "Race Night Live" Hub at www.worldseriessprintcars.com.
Speedway fans will stream through the gates at Brisbane International Speedway on Saturday November 20 2010, but for fans at home interstate and overseas, following the action can be difficult. This year, World Series Sprintcars brings the action into your home with "Race Night Live" – all you need is an internet connection and a comfortable chair!
"Race Night Live" will feature live radio coverage of the event, beamed straight from our production truck at the track, plus grid draws and event points updated throughout the night during every round of World Series Sprintcars. You can also follow what’s happening at the track on our WSS Twitter feed (WSS_Sprintcars). Access "Race Night Live" in the "2010/11 Season" menu at www.worldseriessprintcars.com.
Fans at the track (and at home) can access the World Series Sprintcars iPhone web app to experience race nights like never before. Simply by visiting www.wss-live.com on an internet enabled iPhone will give you access to the same data as the drivers in the pits – heat and feature grid draws plus nightly points updated after every round of heats. There will also be access to latest World Series Headlines, some World Series history and a lowdown on all of our Contracted Drivers.
All you need is a data-enabled iPhone to get WSS Mobile. Simply follow the guide below to get the World Series Web App on your iPhone today!
1. Visit www.wss-live.com on your iPhone or iPod Touch
2. Click the "+" button at the bottom of the browser window
3. Click "Add To Home Screen" from the popup menu
