NASR Rising Star: Mitch Foster
NASR is proud to announce the fourth participant to be selected for the 2011 NASR Rising Star Program, Mitch Foster of Moe, Victoria.
Mitch, aged 21 years, has been competing in Speedway for the past 9 years and has a family history in the sport – Mitch’s Grandfather and Father have both previously competed in Speedway.
Mitch began his Speedway career in VSC Standard Saloons, capturing Rookie of the Year and the Victorian Junior State Title in his first year. Mitch held his State Title for a further 2 years, winning 18 feature races in that span.
Mitch is now competing in an open Sprintcar and recently competed at the Grand Annual Classic and Australian Title at Warrnambool.
In 2011, The NASR Rising Star Program will give the opportunity for young drivers to improve themselves in a range of areas including fitness training, psychology and marketing and media training, which will assist them in formulating a pathway to achieve their speedway dream.
