Lightning Sprints Australia Releases Event Calendar

The recently formed Lightning Sprints Australia has released its national event calendar for the remainder of 2011.

The national schedule is packed with events in Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales, beginning with the South Australian State Title in Mount Gambier on March 12.

The Victorian and Queensland State Titles will be held in Avalon and Maryborough respectively on March 26. New South Wales will hold their State Title in Gilgandra on April 2^nd.

The Lightning Sprints Australia National Title has been officially rescheduled and will be held later this year in Toowoomba on September 23 and 24.

Tasmania

Roy Cook Memorial – 9^th April and last round of the Clipsal Club Championship for 2010/2011 season (Carrick Speedway)
Easter Cup night 1 – 23^rd April (Carrick Speedway)
Easter Cup night 2 – 24^th April (Carrick Speedway)
Club Day – 30^th April (Carrick Speedway) This day is being planned as an opportunity for interested racers to have a drive of a Lightning Sprints. Objective is to increase the interest and participation in Lightning Sprint Racing. More information to follow.

This event was rescheduled from the 28^th/29^th Jan 2011 due the extensive rain/flooding in Toowoomba and across Queensland.
