SSAC Nominations Close March 31
NASR in conjunction with the Speedway Safety Advisory Committee are now making the final call for nominations for 3 vacant Committee Member positions. Nominations must be received by March 31 2011.
The NASR Speedway Safety Advisory Committee (SSAC) was formed in 2006 to give advice and provide guidelines to the NASR Board on relevant aspects of safety and competition regulation in Australian Speedway.
It is designed to liaise closely with national and international technical associations and provide safety reports at the NASR National Safety Conference.
As part of the Committee’s formation in January 2006, it was decided that 3 Member positions become vacant every year thereafter.
The Speedway Safety Advisory Committee (SSAC) consists of 9 Members plus a NASR Management Representative, all of whom were elected by the NASR Board. The Members represent a range of groups with diverse skills and expertise who are involved in Speedway racing across the country.
If you wish to enquire about a position or apply to become a Member of the committee, please forward your application addressing your qualifications and relevant experience to NASR Risk Management Officer Shane Collins at NASR Head Office via email at riskmanagement@nasr.com.au.
