Snell Rated Helmet Update
NASR is advising all competitors purchasing a Snell rated helmet to check standard types in order to maximise the life of the helmet.
The National Association of Speedway Racing is advising all competitors planning to purchase a Snell Rated helmet to carefully check the Snell standard before buying.
As per the NASR Minimum Apparel Standards, all Snell Rated Helmets with a '2000' Standard will be phased out on July 1 2011.
Snell Rated Helmets with a 2005 Standard will still be approved for use until the end of 2015.
Snell Rated Helmets with an 2010 Standard offer the longest operational life span and will not be phased out until 2020.
