Harding To Defend Australian Title In Goulburn
Speedway Australia Rising Star Daniel Harding will travel to Goulburn Speedway in New South Wales over Easter to contest the 2011 Formula 500 Australian Title. The young Speedway star will be defending the title he won at Arunga Park in 2010.
Daniel recently attended an intensive 3 day camp at the Australian Institute of Sport and attributed his recent West Australian State Title victory to lessons learned in Canberra. He'll apply those lessons again this weekend against the nation's best drivers.
"I used the assessment I received from leading Sports Physcologist Vicki de Prazer at the AIS, and I put her suggestions into action as I analysed the race and resolved not to panic. I kept reminding myself to stay calm and time my race, rather than risk everything early and make a mistake."
The event will kick off on Good Friday (April 22nd) with scrutineering beginning at 8am.
Speedway Australia wishes Daniel the best of luck as he attempts to retain his Australian Championship.
