Dale Gilson
General Manager
Dale has a professional sports administration background working with a number of key sporting organisations across Victoria.
Since taking on the role in July 2009 he has looked at the organisation from a business perspective with an unbiased viewpoint to implement strategies and practices for the benefit of all.

Paul Trengove
Competition & Operations Manager
Paul commenced his role as Competition Manager in July 2006. His job description includes developing policy, procedure, standards and training, overseeing competition issues for Speedway Australia such as developing the premier series events in which Speedway Australia has direct involvement and general risk management of tracks including track inspections and risk audits.
Paul is a third generation race driver winning the 2002 Australian Formula 3 National Series (Level 2). Paul has also competed in Australia’s fastest motor sport category - Formula 4000 and in finished runner up in the 2003 Formula Holden Australian Drivers’ Championship. Paul has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and brings to Speedway Australia seven years of public sector experience working in corporate finance and multi-million dollar information and communication technology projects. In 2009 Paul was promoted to manage the operations of the Speedway Australia Head Office as well as all competition related matters.

Rob Pearce
Finance Manager
Rob commenced his employment at Speedway Australia in February 2011 and brings a wide range of finance and management experience to the team.
Rob has been heavily involved in accounting and finance for the building industry over the years working for a number of companies, associations and developers.
In addition to his wealth of financial experience, Rob spent several years as owner and operator of a supermarket in Riverton, SA.

Warren King
Marketing & Communications Officer
Warren joined the Speedway Australia team in March 2010.
Coming from a graphic design and marketing background, Warren's role is to consolidate the Speedway Australia brand, explore new areas to market and promote the sport of speedway racing, and to enhance Speedway Australia's communication with stakeholders, license holders and enthusiasts.
While Warren doen't possess a background in motorsport, he comes with University qualifications in design and marketing, and brings a sound knowledge of branding, marketing and media concepts.

Shane Collins
Risk Management Officer
Shane commenced his role as Risk Management Officer in October 2010. Prior to commencing employment at Speedway Australia, Shane has been Race Director for World Series Sprintcars for a number of years.
Shane has a love of all sports and a passion for Speedway that stems from his childhood. Shane possesses a thorough knowledge of Speedway racing that will prove invaluable as Risk Management Officer.
Shane looks forward to helping Speedway Australia do everything possible to make the sport stronger and put it in a better position amongst the very competitive sporting community.
